Aurilla Jean Dingey

DINGEY, Aurilla Jean age 88 of Urbana, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born on December 27, 1932 in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Edford and Monnie (Hayes) Cassell. In addition to her parents, Aurilla is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dingey; her son, Billy Edward Dingey, granddaughter, Kate Pritchard and brothers, Bobby Cassell, Billy Dean Cassell, and Russell Cassell. She leaves behind her children: Thomas Dingey and Deena Dingey; grandchildren: Thomas Dingey II, Patricia, Amber, Randy, Dakota, Makala, Brittney, Damien, Alex, Braxton,
John, Sky and Travis, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Aurilla was devoted to her faith and was a long time member of Urbana Free Will Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 60 years. She was a retired beautician and loved being outdoors tending to her gardens. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Walter & Lewis Funeral Home. Her funeral service will follow on Friday, June 25 at Urbana Free Will Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 a.m. Aurilla will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
